Trans is an extraordinary documentary about men and women and everything in between. Trans is about the US transgender community, one of the most misunderstood and ill-treated minorities in the country. Trans gives a close and personal look at the lives, love stories and challenges of outstanding characters of different ages and backgrounds that have faced their own transgender identity. As it usually happens with movies about transsexuals, the characters in this documentary are much broader than what we usually think about, but since positive role models are never enough, movies like Trans are still needed.
