Freier Fall Freier Fall tells a seemingly simple story within the German police department. Marc is an upright man of strong will with a conventional life, a home, a girlfriend and a son about to be born. He feels attracted to Kay, a provocative and lonesome colleague and they become friends. The relationship strengthens until it becomes irreversibly destructive, a free fall into the void where the main character will lose everything.
Filmed with great sensitivity and realism, and with a great cast with the best German actors of the current generation, Freier Fall is a dramatic story, blunt and without concessions, about the power of the physical attraction between two human beings, breaking all conventions and loosing control. One of the more stunning movies in the Berlinale 2013.
