OFFICIAL SECTION: FEATURE FILMS
Plynace wiezowce
Polish director Tomasz Wasilewski presented his second movie, Floating Skyscrapers, in the East of the West section of the Karlovy Vary festival where, 2 years before, his debut film In a Bedroom was awarded best prize. This very young director (he was born in 1980) moves from the female universe of his first work to a completely masculine world in Floating Skyscrapers, a movie that describes bluntly the fight of a man to understand his bisexuality.

Kuba is an athlete, living with his girlfriend and satisfied with his life. An encounter with Michal, an uninhibited young man, will cause him to explore the possibility of his repressed homosexuality and put everything he loves at risk. Floating Skyscrapers is a movie with blunt and contemporary visual power, dark and gloomy, a jewel of strange and bitter beauty.
