O Inferno
Heaven and Hell live in the same house where a child's job is to keep the pool clean, otherwise he'll end up getting involved in compromising activities. The director treads dangerous ground to provoke the surprised reaction of the viewer. What happens behind the windows of a contemporary home? A film that reflects on what we think about things, and what they really are. Or could be...

Carlos Conceição was born in Angola in 1979. While graduating with a degree in English, he specialized in Anglo-Saxon literature and romanticism, and wrote his thesis on the cruelty in the work of Edgar Allan Poe. After studying at the Lisbon Film School, he directed several music videos and short films. He worked with acclaimed directors such as Pedro Rodrigues and João José Fonseca e Costa and followed master classes with many others. In 2010, his short film Carne won the New Talent Fnac Award at the IndieLisboa film festival.
