Alice and Frank have just moved to live in the country with their children. Despite her busy daily routine, Alice feels more and more isolated and left out until, finally, she discovers, after eighteen years’ marriage, that Frank is becoming more and more attracted to men. Impotent before this new situation, she must decide whether to break up her stable family or try to face facts with love.

What’s Between Us is a delicate film, simple yet tremendously authentic in its use of intimate, subtle everyday scenes to portray the decline of a respectable family and to champion sincerity and recognition. An exercise, at times sad, at others optimistic, in reconstructing a life damaged by a truth that has been hidden for too long.
