Scorned and bullied at school, Kim, Bella and Momo are three girls seeking their place in the world. Excluded but certain of their sexual orientation, their close friendship is all they have. Together, the friends drink the nectar of a strange plant, an experience which will turn their lives upside-down.
Alexandra-Therese Keining, who first rose to fame in 2011 with the fantastic Kyss mig, takes a provocative leap forward in this film, with its distant echoes of Lewis Carroll and H. C. Andersen. This is a magical story, a dreamlike reflection on friendship, assertiveness and freedom. A truly different movie that touches on many topical issues concerning sexual diversity and, especially, gender, and in the most fantastic and original way.
