The Gap
The Gap is one of the most interesting recent arthouse movies on the subject of transsexuality, an excellent work in terms of both narrative and aesthetic values.

Alex feels that, in the world she lives in, she does not exist, she's just a "gap", a hole... Through texts by philosophers like Marcuse, Sartre, Foucault and Erich Fromm, as well as the main character's own thoughts, we enter Alex's emotional and rational world, trying to understand not only her own relationship with her gender, but also the political and social influences that torment her.

(*) Film screened in the framework of OPEN, a film project that aims to provide a special and participatory event once a month, with a film and a discussion on LGBT cinema.
