52 Tuesdays
52 Tuesdays was a great surprise the last edition of the Berlin Festival, not only for its theme, but also for the originality in its methodology and production plan. Sophie Hyde, its director, set a single rule: to meet with the cast every Tuesday for 52 weeks and shoot whatever came up, with no script and few guidelines.

Through this idea, the movie becomes a brilliant collage of images around a fascinating subject: the voyage from adolescence to adulthood of Billie, a lost and confused girl who is faced with her mother's decision to have sex reassignment surgery. It is an awesome accomplishment in every sense (technical, visual, narrative…) as it shows a different look into the everyday life of a normal Australian family. We are honoured premiere it here in Spain.
